
Courtney Eshleman has joined Spotlight Delaware as its new director of development, boosting the nonprofit news outlet’s fundraising efforts as it seeks to expand its impact throughout the state.
Eshleman comes to Spotlight Delaware with more than a decade of experience in development roles within the nonprofit news ecosystem, including time at Media Impact Funders and the Food & Environment Reporting Network.
“Courtney’s strategic vision and fundraising expertise will be crucial to ensuring that Spotlight Delaware’s vibrant, independent, and reliable journalism remains strong for our communities,” said Allison Taylor Levine, publisher and CEO.
Eshleman will lead Spotlight Delaware’s efforts to grow philanthropic support, helping sustain its commitment to serving Delaware communities through incisive public policy journalism. As a nonprofit, community-powered news organization, Spotlight Delaware shares its articles paywall-free, and relies on generous contributions to thrive.
