About the Event
Celebrate the cultures that make Delaware vibrant at Spotlight Delaware’s second annual Our Delaware Cultural Festival.
Spend the day enjoying performances from the state’s most iconic cultural clubs, exploring delicious eats from locally-owned food trucks, learning about the people who call Delaware home at the Heritage Fair, and taking part in free activities for kids.
This year’s festival features an expanded roster of performances, bringing more dance, music, song, and traditions from all over the world together under one roof.
Come with family and friends to enjoy the music, dance, food, and community. Adults $10, kids free.

Performances

Delaware Chinese American Association
The association promotes appreciation of Chinese culture, mutual understanding between Chinese American and wider communities, and community services in Delaware.

Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo
Part of the Hispanic American Association of Delaware’s Arts and Culture Committee, México Lindo offers dance classes for children and adults and performs dances from 10 Mexican states. The group’s purpose is to share and preserve Mexican customs and traditions through dance.

Sankofa African Drum and Dance Group
Sankofa African Dance and Drum Company offers dance and drum programming through the Inner City Cultural League, whose arts programs highlight African American cultural and historical contributions in Delaware and the nation.

Terpsichorean Dance Group from the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral
The cathedral’s Greek School includes traditional Greek dance as part of its cultural programming.

Lanetzach Tzi’irim – Folk Dance Troupe from Adas Kodesch Shel Emeth Synagogue
Adas Kodesch Shel Emeth’s adult Israeli folk dance group performs new and classic dances at cultural events.

YMCA Essence Legacy Performing Arts
A YMCA of Delaware program for young performers in percussion, stepping, and cheerleading, with community performances and competitions.

Nanticoke Indian Dance Troupe
The Nanticoke Indian Tribe’s cultural-awareness programs aim to foster understanding, respect, and preservation of the tribe.

Rainbow Chorale
An inclusive community chorus offering LGBTQ+ people, friends, and allies the opportunity to perform choral music in an affirming environment.
Heritage Fair

Delaware Chinese American Association

Delaware Korean Association
The association works to improve the quality of life for Koreans in Delaware by building community and promoting Korean culture.

Delaware Saengerbund
The organization supports German language, culture, traditions, dancing, and choral singing, and shares German community traditions with the wider community.

Delaware Sexuality & Gender Collective
The Collective connects Delaware’s LGBTQIA+ community through education, mutual aid, social action, support services, and community programs.

Easterseals
Easterseals provides services, education, outreach, and advocacy to support people with disabilities, seniors, families, and caregivers.

Hispanic American Association of Delaware
HAAD is a nonprofit that helps Delaware’s Latino families and residents thrive through wellness, education, and community support. It also connects the Latino community with local resources and service providers in culturally appropriate ways.

Indo-American Association of Delaware
IAAD promotes awareness of Indian heritage, goodwill and unity in the Indo-American community, and social, educational, health, and cultural activities.

Irish Culture Club of Delaware
The club promotes personal connections and Irish culture through community events.

Jewish Federation of Delaware
The Federation works to preserve and strengthen the local and global Jewish community through philanthropic, volunteer, and professional leadership.

Latin American Community Center
The Center offers lifelong learning and life empowerment programs and services for individuals and families.

Lenape Indian Tribe
The Tribe works to protect Lenape cultural identity through educational, social, and cultural programs.

Mitchell Center for African American Heritage
The Center collects, preserves, researches, and presents the history and heritage of Delaware’s African Americans.

Nanticoke Indian Tribe
The Tribe’s programs support its community and raise awareness of American Indian cultures through conservation, education, and cultural awareness.

New Sweden Alliance
The Alliance supports programs, exhibits, and events that educate people about the history and contributions of the New Sweden Colony.
