Spotlight Delaware, the state’s collaborative nonprofit newsroom, announces the establishment of its inaugural advisory board, made up of accomplished leaders from across the region’s corporate, nonprofit and philanthropic landscape. These advisors will help guide the strategic direction of Spotlight Delaware as the newsroom develops a sustainable business model and continues its mission to inform, engage and empower Delawareans with local news and information.

The newly appointed advisory board members are:

  • Brandon Brice, Chief Development Officer, Covenant House Pennsylvania
  • John Collins, strategic advisor
  • Stuart Comstock-Gay, President and CEO, Delaware Community Foundation
  • Dan Cruce, Chief Operating Officer, United Way of Delaware
  • Patrick McCrummen, Global Leader of Community Impact, DuPont
  • Shawn Mooring, Head of Programs, Philadelphia-based Lenfest Institute for Journalism
  • José Quiñones, Broker/Owner, Linda Vista Real Estate
  • Laurisa Schutt, Founder, First State Educate; current student of law
  • David Singleton, Retired finance executive and former Delaware Secretary of Finance
